SoulCollageSue, team leader

We spend our life until we're 20 deciding what parts of ourself
to put into the bag, and we spend the rest of our lives trying to get them out again.

— Robert Bly

SoulCollage™ is artwork that speaks on many different levels. Letting imagery "choose you," SoulCollagers combine clipped images and glue to make small collages. Each collaged card may be used for personal insight and guidance, especially when feeling stuck or unmotivated in your weight loss or life.

The best way to get a sense of SoulCollage™ is by looking at the cards of others. Below is a slideshow of my personal SoulCollage™ deck. You can pause any card with your pointer. If you prefer a manual slideshow that you can control and, more importantly, includes the "I am one who..." messages, click on the photo of my SoulCollage™ space to your left, or press Witness.

Team Leader

My name is Sue. I joined SparkPeople in May 2009 to renew my goals and support others in achieving theirs. While I am a trained SoulCollage™ facilitator, I join you as a SparkFriend on life's journey to a healthier, less-encumbered body and longer life.

The SoulCollage™ process is similar to SparkPeople's Vision Collage, only a Vision Collage ends where SoulCollage™ begins. At our SparkTeam, we learn to make cards in the four SoulCollage™ suits, complete brief writing exercises, and explore all aspects of the SoulCollage™ process. This method is based on Seena Frost’s book SoulCollage™. Watch for Seena's new book, SoulCollage™ Evolving, coming in the fall of 2010.

SparkMail me with any questions or concerns. Otherwise, come join us and the international community of SoulCollagers today!

About My SoulCollage™ Cards

I started SoulCollaging in February 2004. SoulCollage™ provided a venue for creative expression that countered the behaviors and choices that were undermining my weight loss and healthy living goals. Through the years, each SoulCollage™ card added to my well-being and sense of wholeness—liberating parts of myself long-buried in poet Robert Bly’s "long bag that we drag behind us."
